My challenge in solidarity with my sister:
My sister (right on the picture) has been diagnosed with cancer. I want to support her in the fight against the disease. Shaving my head was an option. Instead I am setting myself an even greater challenge: just like her, I have switched to a healthy diet, and sport at least 50 min. 6x/week.
Why? Numerous scientific publications show that combining a healthy diet + sport with conventional treatments, may improve the outcome of the disease.
Please donate below to encourage both of us to stick to our challenge, and to support research to cure paralysis. Thank you!

About MY challenge
My sister was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She's getting "standard of care" treatment (chemo ++). Based on numerous scientific publications (investigating metabolic treatment of cancer), it appears that a healthy diet and sport, combined with the conventional treatment, may help improve the outcome of the disease. Therefore, she has quit all added sugars, and most carbs / highly-processed food, while I am following an "anti-inflammatory" diet. The biggest challenge for me is to quit sweet desserts, e.g. ice cream, which I am clearly addicted to. Besides helping my sister in her fight against cancer, my personal goal is to try and curb down my ever increasing neuropathic pain (which is a side effect of paralysis) and arthritis.
Will you encourage both of us? You can do so by making a donation (donate button above). 100% of your gift will go to research towards curing chronic spinal cord injury. Thanks in advance for your support.
