My challenge: run half marathon for endParalysis
I have decided to take on this challenge for two reasons. First, for myself: it has always been my dream to run a half marathon, and I believe that sharing my goal with all of you will help keep me motivated throughout my journey, with the October 2025 Eindhoven Marathon as my endpoint.
Second, I want to support the endParalysis foundation’s mission to cure paralysis resulting from spinal cord injury. Every donation you make to this challenge will go directly toward regenerative research and will encourage me to stick to my physical training schedule.

About MY challenge
Imagine waking up on the side of the road one day and realizing you are paralyzed, suddenly needing help from others for the rest of your life. What would your plan be? It’s difficult even to imagine, and to be honest, it breaks my heart.
This is exactly what happened to my friend Corinne after a very serious car accident. However, instead of giving up, she chose to face this as the biggest challenge of her life. She went back to work and subsequently founded endparalysis.org, with the mission to contribute to curing paralysis.
I have known Corinne for more than 10 years, and from our very first conversation, I realized how passionate she is about her work and vision. Even when it’s not easy and she is in pain, she is fully dedicated—approaching scientists and researchers to understand the science as best as she can, collaborating with other recognised organisations worldwide, generating new ideas, and leading by example by participating in fundraising challenges.
Please donate to encourage me to stick to my training regimen and make my half-marathon a success, and to support research to cure paralysis. Thank you!
