In 2001, a car accident left me paralyzed from the waist down. I was 32 years old and was working in Indonesia as a purchasing manager at that time. After almost a year spent in various hospitals and rehabilitation centers, I resumed a ”normal” life including working at the same company, but then from the Netherlands.
I recently got the opportunity of focusing on a cause I value. So, I chose to support the science that one day will allow people to regain functions after a spinal cord injury. If not this generation, the next generation will benefit. Through the endparalysis foundation, I aim to contribute as much as I possibly can to that lifetime goal.
